Firms need to look inward and ask difficult questions to overcome these issues, says Sonya Dreizler, co-founder of the Choir diversity-certification and diversity-tech platform. She says those questions should include “Why is our staff — especially our executive team — homogenous?” and “Is this a place where women want to work and grow their careers?”
